NEW FLAG TO JOIN HISTORIC COLLECTION

The National Flag Exhibit has announced that a fund has been set up to raise money for a United States Marine Corps Flag. The giant banner measuring 45x90 feet will be one of the largest of it's kind in the world. The flag will join the 90 foot U.S. Navy Flag and others next year as part of an "Official" Commemorative Exhibit and tour. The Navy Flag was commissioned by the Captain of the U.S.S. Constitution and first kept aboard ship under guard by a Marine Corps Honor Guard.
